Chocolate Tuxedo Strawberries

YOU WILL NEED:

White chocolate coating
Milk chocolate coating
Large perfect strawberries
Melt some white chocolate or coating in one container and milk chocolate or coating in a second container. It is best if the container has a smaller diameter so the chocolate will be deeper in the container. Hold the green stem and submerge the strawberry in white chocolate, leaving a small circle of the red fruit around the base of the cap. Allow the white to set up. To speed the process you can set the fruit in the refrigerator or freezer for a few minutes.

Hold the strawberry at an angle and dip one side of the berry into milk chocolate. Set the berry aside to dry again. When the chocolate is set, dip the opposite side of the berry into the milk chocolate as pictured.

Use a pointed object such as a toothpick or skewer and dip the pointed end into the chocolate and make tiny dots on the front of the “shirt” for buttons. Use a little more chocolate to create a bow tie. When the chocolate has cooled and is firm, place on a tray or on top of a frosted cupcake.
